Between 31 March and 2 April 2020, the WHO global surveillance and monitoring system on substandard and falsified (SF) medical products received 14 reports of confirmed falsified chloroquine products from 5 countries: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, France, and Niger.
